As The Pass is used to pay for food and drinks when you’re in a venue, it requires a stored payment method to pay for the transactions.
You’ll only be charged for what you purchase when at a venue, there are no fees for being a member of The Pass!
You can register debit or credit Mastercard and Visa or an AMEX card.
If you see a small pending charge on your account from ‘Verify Auth’ and are wondering what it is, don’t worry — this is a temporary card authorisation and will be returned to your bank account. This is used to validate your payment method and help protect against fraud. Some banks may send you a text or other notification that a card authorisation has been requested. This is completely normal and will not actually be charged, but may take up to 10 days to return to your account, depending on your bank.
Your card details are stored securely in an encrypted state with a third-party payment platform provider. The Pass doesn’t retain the credit or debit card details on any of our systems.
We utilise Tyro Payments, powered by Mastercard Payment Gateway Services, which is a Level 1 PCI Service Provider. Level 1 is the highest level of PCI compliance, and protecting sensitive data is a top priority at Mastercard. Our systems do not transmit or store any card data as we utilise tokenisation services offered by the gateway to ensure this is the case.
Unfortunately digital wallet cards such as Apple Pay or Google Pay are not currently compatible with The Pass.
There are no subscription fees for being a member of The Pass! Your stored payment method will only be charged for the food/drinks you purchase using The Pass when in one of our venues.
When you add your card to your account, you may see a small pending verification transaction, but this is not actually charged and will disappear from your bank account within a few days.
