Where to Take Dad This Father’s Day in Perth

3 minutes | August 13th, 2026

Dad doesn’t need much. Perth’s pubs are giving him plenty anyway.

Father’s Day is Sunday 6 September 2026, and Perth’s Pass venues have decided a handshake and a cold beer isn’t quite enough this year. We’re talking free pints, table kegs, giant lawn games, hourly giveaways, a hair-braiding masterclass, and at least one hamper big enough to make the neighbours jealous.

Whether Dad wants a laid-back pub feed with the kids running wild, a refined set menu with river views, or a beachside session that turns into an all-afternoon event, there’s a booking below built exactly for him.

From Brabham to Bassendean, here’s where to book Perth’s best Father’s Day plans.

The Claremont Hotel, Claremont

The Claremont Hotel is turning Father’s Day into a full family day out, courtyard and all.

Giant lawn games run in the Courtyard until 5pm, think quoits, giant Jenga, Connect Four and cornhole, alongside steak sanga specials for big and little legends, and a complimentary engraved glass for every dad, hand-customised by the venue’s engravist from 12pm to 5pm. For something more refined, book the $79pp three-course set menu in Bay Lounge, kids’ menu included, and don’t miss the dress-as-your-dad competition, with a fresh pair of New Balance up for grabs.

The Claremont Hotel, Claremont – Beers & Braids

Not every Father’s Day event needs a roast, and The Claremont Hotel is proving it with easily the most hands-on booking in Perth this year.

On Thursday 3 September from 7pm, Beers & Braids returns with a Father’s Day twist, an Old Fashioned on arrival and a guided lesson in detangling, prepping and mastering the ponytail, fishtail braid and rumi braid, all on a mannequin head, no experience required. It’s $65 a ticket, hosted by Braids & Waves, and might just be the most useful thing Dad picks up all week.
