External Purchase
Did you know that you can earn points even when you don’t use The Pass app to pay?
To use The Pass’ ‘card matching’ system, simply pay using the same card that’s stored in your Pass account. The system will match your card to your Pass account, and add 5 points for every dollar spent. Transactions will appear in My Activity as ‘External purchase‘.
Please note:
- Points are earned at 5 points per $1 spent. To receive 10 points per $1 spent, pay using The Pass app (Order at Table or Order at Bar).
- Pass discounts and credits do not apply to card-matched transactions.
- Card-matched transactions are not eligible for Pass-specific offers.
- If the same card is stored in two Pass accounts, only the first account to add the card will receive points.
External purchase is a good backup option to still earn some points if you forget to pay with The Pass app, but we’d recommend paying with the app to ensure you’re accessing your full benefits!
